Hey everyone! My name is Catherine and I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve been on YouTube for a few years now, but recently decided to start my blog as well. I’ve always preferred speaking to writing, so blogging will be a good exercise for me to improve different skills.
Though I’m originally from Houston, Tx, I now live in small town Oklahoma and absolutely love it! My husband and I built our dream home on 20 acres a few years ago so I spend a lot of time on projects around our home and property, including taking care of “our” wildlife. Not to mention I also spend a lot of energy doting on my doberman Heidi. But even as a recent country-girl transplant, I still love fashion, beauty, home decor and especially decorating for the holidays. And that’s what I’ll share here on my blog. Hope you stick around!

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved fashion, insisting on picking out my own outfits. As an adult, that has turned in to a passion, mixing high and low, casual and work wear, edgy to classic.
Beauty
I’m also a makeup junkie and nail enthusiast! I started my journey to only using cruelty-free makeup products a few years ago. And I don’t have a makeup drawer; I have a makeup cabinet!
Home Decor
After building our rustic industrial home, I’ve made a sport out of finding unique, often antique items to furnish our house. As for the holidays, my saying is “go big or go home”. I have a minimum of six trees!
