This year, for my Fall/Halloween decor, I decided to added a new tree in my office. As I’m still working from home most of the time, I’d left my Easter tree up all this time. So I decided to replace my Easter tree with a Fall/Halloween tree instead….a “Falloween” tree if you will, as its got components of both holidays. But since it is part of the backdrop of my work video calls, I wanted to keep it a bit sophisticated. So I decided to stick with the darker, richer colors of Fall, throwing in a few “Halloween” colors with black and white and some subtle Halloween accents.
All of the products I used on the tree came from either Hobby Lobby or Amazon.
- Hobby Lobby for all of the picks, stems, deco mesh and garland (you can now shop Hobby Lobby’s website!)
- Amazon for
- Purple twinkle lights – these are the same lights I use in warm white for most of my Christmas trees
- Ribbon – not the best quality in the world, but good value for the amount you get and certainly got the job done
- Skulls – I ordered multiple sizes and decided this size worked best as an accent for the tree
- Birds – I ordered multiple sets and this was the best quality
- Blanket (as tree skirt)
- I even pulled out my fog machine to take some spooky night time pics!
I have a full video documenting how I put together this tree with a lot more shots of the finished product. Check it out!
